Our core innovation is a patent-pending bi-directional accordion folding mechanism that compresses large panel arrays into shoebox-sized units in under 30 seconds. This mechanism is the foundation of every SOLEV product — scalable, substrate-agnostic and applicable across multiple product categories.
SOLEV is currently in the trial and pre-launch phase. Trial 2 is underway with Australian riders — with a global product launch planned following trial completion.

At the heart of every SOLEV product is a bi-directional accordion panel folding mechanism — a novel system that folds any flexible or rigid panel array in two orthogonal directions simultaneously.
The result: large panel arrays compress into stacks that are a fraction of their deployed size — in under 30 seconds, by a single operator, without tools.
Unlike single-direction folding solutions, our mechanism works with any substrate — flexible films, fabric/textile backing, or rigid hinged frames — and scales proportionally to any panel size.

Trial 1 — concept proved in the real world
Three riders — a hunter, an eTrike rider and a gold prospector across SA and WA trialled the first version — 90–120W via direct DC charging. The concept worked. Riders were impressed: "performed beyond expectations." Their feedback shaped what came next.

DC → AC: a smarter, greener engineering upgrade
Switching from DC to AC output solved universal compatibility in one move — and raised output power from 90–120W to 175–235W. A deliberate engineering decision that made the product better in every way.
